Inspired by conversations with diverse Juneau residents, These Birds is new play interview-based play about death and dying. As stated by an interviewee, “No one gets out of here alive.” In a world of diversity and divisiveness, loneliness and connection, death is equitable, a common ground.  We hope the stories, perceptions bring laughter, shared tears and more conversations and support connections, hospice, mental health, end of life planning in our community.
