Heidi Handelsman

Heidi Handelsman is thrilled to be back in Juneau. Previously with Theater Alaska, Heidi directed the premiere of Annie Bartholomew's Sisters of White Chapel. Some of her favorite past productions include Macbeth (Theater at Monmouth), 12 Ophelias (Powerhouse), and Dick Pix (TheaterLab NYC). She has directed in residence at University of New Mexico, Ensemble Studio Theater, and Chautauqua Theater Company. Member: Lincoln Center Directors Lab, MFA: Brown/Trinity, BA: Vassar College. Heidi lives in San Diego, California, where she teaches theater, pulls invasive plants out of her garden, and chases around her two kids. Love to them, and to David.
