Autumn Banaszak

Autumn Banaszak is a Level 6 dancer at Juneau Dance Theatre and an incoming junior at Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé. She joined JDT’s ballet program in 2021 as a member of the JDT Fusion Dance Team, performing and competing in both group and solo works, across a variety of dance styles. Autumn has danced principal roles in The Nutcracker, including Coffee and Marzipan Lead, as well as corps de ballet roles in Flowers and Snow. Autumn regularly performs with JDT, in community events and conferences, such as the Juneau Maritime Festival, the JEDC Innovation Summit, JDHS’ Showtime, and Juneau’s Got Talent. Autumn has loved dancing since the beginning and especially enjoys the opportunity to perform. Sharing her hard work on stage is one of her favorite parts of the process. She is motivated by the dedication of her classmates and appreciates how JDT’s rigorous training helps her grow stronger, both physically and artistically.
